This has been quite a year and a half. I know many of you have and are facing physical, financial and emotional challenges facing a year dealing with Covid-19. I cant help but think of the people we have lost to this pandemic. But I am keenly aware that those caretakers of their loved ones who are struggling with Alzheimers Disease and other forms of Dementia are facing even tougher challenges. So many of us have lost loved ones to Alzheimers and other forms of Dementia. It robs people of who they are and any relationship with those that love them. I am walking to honor those I have admired and lost but I am especially walking to honor all those caretakers. We raise funds for research but also for education. Education to help those facing some form of dementia or Alzheimers and to help for those who love and care for us.
In this very unique year I am asking to just take time to think of how much your donation will help in finding a cure for this dreadful disease. I am asking you to join me in donating to Alzheimers Assn. A few of us formed a group for this Walk called Women Above the Grade. You can find it on the Alzheimers Assn website. Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association
