Dear friends and family,
This year, I will be participating in the San Luis Obispo Walk to End Alzheimer's in honor of my father, Richard, who lost his 7 year battle with Alzheimer's in 2018. Unfortunately, my family and I have personally seen how tragic this disease is for both the patient and their loved ones and caregivers.
Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. And the COVID-19 pandemic and closures have had devastating effects throughout the Alzheimer's community. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease to help the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research. Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them.
I know that these are challenging and unique times, so if you are able, I would truly appreciate your support with a donation, no matter the size. Every single dollar makes a difference.
And if you will be in the area, I'd love to see you at the event!
Thank you and take care!
