Dear Family and Friends,
This year has presented many challenges to all of us. We have had to reach down and find optimism and strength to get through many days. As I consider this, I do think about the individuals and families currently struggling with Alzheimer's and other dementia. Many of us have and still do. Knowing this, we are aware that the need for advocacy has not only changed but increased dramatically. During this pandemic, for many, priorities have altered the ability donate at a level that we may previously been able to, and that is certainly OK. As we approach his time of advocacy during a distracting and troubling year, I only ask that we consider that this current health care issue will pass, but our fight for finding a cure will continue. I look forward with hope and renewed anticipation as I read about many promising research studies on the horizon. Hope is alive. While it is disappointing that the large, "formal' walk has been canceled, you can still walk in small family and friend groups, creating your own venue! In doing so you will demonstrate your continued support and remembrance of our loved ones and friends. I appreciate any support you can offer towards our continued efforts to end all these devastating diseases, thus sparing our future generations.
I thank you for your thoughtful consideration
Thank you for helping us advance Alzheimer's support, care and research!
