Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. It is a horrible disease, not only for the person who has it, but the caretaker and family, as well. It is devastating to watch someone you love, slowly slip away. Walk to End Alzheimer's are nationwide walks to raise awareness and funds to fight Alzheimer's, and I am proud to say that Edward Jones is the National Sponsor. In the past, the walk has been in downtown Orlando, but this year, the walks are virtual. On Oct. 24th, Jeff and I will be walking in our hometown of Lake Helen in memory of our mom, Elnora Ritchey, and Bill Ottinger, a dear friend.
Please join us and walk virtually wherever you are, or make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into methods of treatment, prevention, and, ultimately, a cure. Together, we can make a difference.
Thank you, Debbie
