Gordon Spendlove-beloved husband to Sharel, and father to Roger and Scott, passed away on the morning of September 2nd. Dad was peaceful at the end, but had suffered from memory loss and other issues for years. He loved his family deeply, and you could tell that he cherished his memories of earlier times. However, he struggled to recall details and you could tell he was frustrated by this. He and Sharel have long supported the Alzheimer's association, and their efforts to find cures, therapies, and solutions for people who are afflicted with this terrible condition. We ask you to honor his memory by making a contribution to this fine organization. We hope that someday, their efforts will lead to people being able to retain their memories and mental faculties for the duration of their lives.
