It is with heavy hearts that we share that Coach Bob Knight passed away at his home in Bloomington surrounded by his family. We are grateful for all the thoughts and prayers, and appreciate the continued respect for our privacy as Coach requested a private family gathering, which we are honoring. We will continue to celebrate his life and remember him, today and forever as a beloved Husband, Father, Coach, and Friend.

In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring Coach with a contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association at Coach’s dedicated memorial website where you can also share your most cherished memories.

David Carver Wed, Nov 01, 2023 Dear Family, We are all hurting at your loss. Our family of Clair and Marjorie Carver went through the down turn of exceptional people who were leaders pointing the way for the challenged on how to do things the right way to succeed by hard work effort, and time. They pointed the way but left it to us to catch on. My sister Barbara and I (David) are the last of the standing family that are gifted the memory of IU and Bobby Knight basketball. Treasured first in our lowly setting was popcorn and radio. Later, some prosperity and we were able to congregate around TV with family which became an IU ritual. What a wonderful memory our entire family has had of togetherness because of Coach Bob Knight and IU basketball. A cherished gift to our family. I sincerely pray that Our Lord God relieves your Grief and sets your heart at ease. God forgives the sinners who belief in his son Jesus Christ who has died for the sins of ALL.

Thank you for being you and showing the world what really mattered! Your intelligence, communication skills, and leadership impacted America, you will be missed, but NEVER forgotten!
