Hello everyone, I have been asked to come out of retirement and put my helmet on once again to race in a Ladies Challenge, 5 lap race during the Fall Final weekend on Saturday, September 29th, 2018 at the Stafford Motor Speedway to raise awareness and funds for the Alzheimer's Association. Jason Lafayette has asked me to drive his car, the #21 Street Stock, in the 5 lap Ladies Challenge.
I am racing in memory of Florence Lavoie, my Mother and Grandmother to Jeremy Lavoie driver of the Limited Late Model #6 who we lost in April of 1999. Our family has lost many family members to this disease and realize the toll that it takes on the caregivers and surviving members.
Your donations will help the Alzheimer's Association to provide care & support to families who are affected by Alzheimer's, to educate and raise awareness and to grow understanding as well as research toward methods of treatment, prevention and ultimately a cure.
So please join me in supporting the Alzheimer's Association in their mission to eliminate Alzheimer's disease.
