I walk, fundraise, and pray to find an end to Alzheimer's to honor my father-in-law, John Williams (we called him Bakka), and my sister-in-law, Beth Hyser.
We lost my father-in-law to Alzheimer’s in 2008. Beth was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2019 and has passed away.
My husband, Tim, and I assisted with the walk, in Kenosha, at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 2017. We also started to walk in Lake Geneva with the Walworth County Walk. We joined the Walworth County Walk committee in 2018, and we started a fundraising team for the Alzheimer’s Association called "Remember the Love".
This is why I walk, fundraise, and do whatever I can to end Alzheimer's.
I will always Remember the Love.
