Honoring My Mother’s Legacy Through BrightStar Care &The Alzheimer’s Association
Hi, I’m Bob Ouellette, Owner and Operator of BrightStar Careof Greater Chester County.
Life has a way of shaping our purpose, and for me, thatcalling became clear after my mother’s passing. She dedicated her life tonursing, earning a master’s and a doctorate before becoming a professor atBoston College, specializing in neurological brain decline and traumatic braininjury. In a heartbreaking twist, she later developed Alzheimer’s disease.
My family faced many challenges in securing the right careto keep her at home with my dad. That experience opened my eyes to theimportance of quality in-home care and ultimately led me to BrightStar Care—tohonor my mother’s legacy and support families on their own caregiving journeys.
The Alzheimer’s Association was an invaluableresource to us, and I knew I had to give back. Today, I’m proud to be involvedin helping others navigate this difficult path, just as my family once did.
If you or someone you know is facing similar challenges, know that you’re not alone. Let’s continue to support one another in makingaging in place a possibility for more families.
