I’m walking this year to honor two very special people in my life who have been touched by Alzheimer’s: my grandpa, George Rook, Sr., and my Aunt Kathy. Alzheimer’s has touched both sides of my family, and I’m committed to raising awareness and funds to help end this disease.
Alzheimer’s doesn’t just affect the person diagnosed - it affects everyone who loves them. I’ve seen the strength, the struggles, and the courage that come with this disease. Walking is my way of standing with them, remembering their stories, and helping move toward a future without Alzheimer’s.
Every step I take is for my grandpa, for my aunt, and for the millions of families who continue to face this disease every day.
Your support allows the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and resources for families while accelerating critical research toward a cure. Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us - and together, we can make a difference.
Please consider making a donation or joining the Walk. Every step brings us closer to a world without Alzheimer’s.
Alzheimer's isn't stopping - and neither am I. Thank you for your support.
