How does three days on two wheels pedaling across South Carolina for an amazing cause sound? Join us for the best-supported, most impactful cycling weekend of the summer!

What To Expect

Every July since 2009, hundreds of cyclists take a three-day, scenic group ride from the South Carolina foothills to the coast, all to raise funds and awareness for the research, care and support efforts of the Alzheimer's Association®. Group Ride participants choose either The Grand Tour (257 miles) or The Half Tour (135 miles). Virtual Challenge participants pedal their miles throughout July wherever and whenever they choose. No matter how you Ride, you'll be a part of a community of cyclists and volunteers on a mission to end Alzheimer's.

From the time you arrive, we take care of all of the details. All meals are provided, along with daily luggage and bus transportation plus discounted rates on nightly lodging. Rest Stops staffed by our enthusiastic volunteers offer hydration and snacks every 10-15 miles. SAG, mechanical and medical support is always available. And, once you’ve crossed the iconic Ravenel Bridge in Charleston and finished your remarkable three-day journey, we'll celebrate in a big way at the finish line!

We invite you to take part in this first-class, nationally recognized event. You'll experience incredible cycling, make life-long friends, and see for yourself why Ride to End ALZ South Carolina is known as the best cycling event of the summer!
