Volunteers

Our Ride wouldn't be possible without the commitment of our passionate volunteers! From checking in riders, assisting with luggage, driving official SAG vehicles, filling water bottles at rest stops, and cheering and assisting at the daily start and finish areas, volunteers are critical to our success. Each volunteer gets an official Ride t-shirt (one for each volunteer day), meals while volunteering, and enthusiastic appreciation from our riders. For those who volunteer for the entire weekend, discounted lodging options are available at our host hotels. Volunteers are responsible for making their lodging reservations.

Want to go the extra mile? Volunteers have the option to fundraise (without cycling!) through their personal fundraising page. To register as a volunteer fundraiser, click REGISTER on the homepage. Then choose PARTICIPATE AS AN INDIVIDUAL and you'll see the option to fundraise as a volunteer. You can then update your fundraising page to reflect that you are volunteering in Ride and raising critical funds to end Alzheimer's. You'll have access to all of the same fundraising tools that our riders use and can share your page through emails, texts, social media, and also create a Facebook fundraiser!
