BREAK A SWEAT TO RAISE FUNDS

Do something you love — while helping to end Alzheimer's.

Whether you like kickboxing, barre classes or cross-training, there are many ways to organize a fitness fundraiser for The Longest Day:

  • Challenge others to top your record for speed, strength or number of reps.
  • Work with your local gym to host a fun exercise event like nightclub cardio, aerobics or Zumba dance class.
  • Start a workout challenge on social media.
  • Organize an outdoor sunrise or sunset yoga or Pilates class.
  • Raise funds with an all-abilities challenge that includes indoor cycling, spinning and NuStepping.

...and more! Use your imagination and have fun. To raise funds, you can set an entry fee or donation per class, challenge participants to make a donation per calorie burned or ask an expert instructor to donate their teaching fee to the cause. Every dollar you raise benefits those affected by Alzheimer's disease.

About the Longest Day

The Longest Day participants fight the darkness of Alzheimer's and all other dementia through a fundraising activity of their choice on a day that works for them. With sports tournaments, card games, parties, baking and more, participants raise funds to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

You can fundraise year-round to make an even greater impact in the fight against Alzheimer’s. Host activities leading up to The Longest Day to increase donations and raise awareness for the cause. At your event, celebrate your fundraising success with family, friends and your community.
