This July, as part of the continuing mission of the I Do It For Foundation, I will be participating in Ride to End ALZ South Carolina, a unique 255-mile, cross-state journey raising funds to support research to end Alzheimer's disease.
In the last few months, ALZ has hit close to home. First, I learned it was effecting a member of my church. More recently, my family has learned that my mother-in-law has been diagnosed with the disease. I am riding this event in her honor.
We all know someone who has been affected by this terrible disease. I ride because I am inspired by the strength of the more than 6 million Americans living with this disease, and over 11 million family members and friends who provide them with care. I want to help speed up scientific progress toward better treatments and prevention.
Will you join me? Thank you for donating and cheering me on!
