Schedule of events:

10:00 AM: Check In Opens

10:30 AM: Warm up with Yoga with Jovan Clay immediately followed by Jiu Jitsu with Boris Umanov.

10:45 AM: Opening Ceremony & Promise Garden
The Brooklyn Walk will happen rain or shine! Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome. We will have a team photo booth, Kids Zone with a face painter & pumpkin decoration, a Top Team Village, and a Comfort Zone for individuals with Alzheimer’s/dementia, their caregivers, and their family members.

11:00 AM: Walk begins directly following the Opening Ceremony & Promise Garden

 


 

Directions
Entrance to the Walk site is across from 200 Cadman Plaza West, Brooklyn, NY 11201. Please follow the signs to Walk Check-In.

Parking: A parking garage is located across the street from the Park at 200 Cadman Plaza West, Brooklyn, NY 11201. Street Parking is also available in the area.

Public Transportation
Subway: The closest subway is the A or C Train to the High St. stop in Brooklyn. The exit/entrance to the subway is located directly across the street from the Park on Cadman Plaza West. The 2 or 3 Train can also be taken to the Clark St. stop, which is 1 block from the Park. For the N, Q, or R Trains, get off at the Court Street stop and walk .3 miles to Cadman Plaza Park. For the 4 or 5 Trains, get off at the Borough Hall stop and walk .3 miles to Cadman Plaza Park.

Bus: Take the B25 bus towards Downtown Brooklyn and get off at the Cadman Plaza w/Cranberry St. Stop. Walk .1 miles to Cadman Plaza Park.

Check Donations + Mobile Check Deposits

Make checks out to the Alzheimer's Association and write your name and/or team name name on the memo line or include a note to ensure funds are properly allocated. Mail checks to:

Double Your Impact with a Matching Gift

A matching gift is an easy way to double your donation to the Alzheimer's Association, making an even bigger impact on the fight against Alzheimer's disease. Many companies provide matching charitable contributions for donations made by their employees.
