About Bankers Life Forget Me Not Days®
At Bankers Life, our agents and employees witness firsthand the impact that Alzheimer's disease has on our customers, their families and their caregivers.
That's why in 2003 we established Bankers Life Forget Me Not Days®, our nationwide fundraising campaign to benefit the Alzheimer's Association®.
Annually, our agents and employees go into their communities to collect donations for the Alzheimer's Association and raise awareness of the disease. In exchange for donations, we distribute Forget-Me-Not flower seeds and ask they be planted in honor of the more than 5 million people with Alzheimer's.
What started as a grassroots fundraiser has blossomed into a national fundraising campaign that has helped raise more than $6 million for the Alzheimer's Association through collections and corporate donations. We are proud to align our campaign with The Longest Day® in 2021.
About The Longest Day
Each June, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer's through an activity of their choice. Together, they use their creativity and passion to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
