Thanks for advancing the fight to end Alzheimer's.

We are so grateful for our participants, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors! Event day is now over but fundraising is still open: All donations made through Dec. 31 will benefit this year's Walk, helping to further the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.

SEATTLE WALK DAY FAQ -

What does Walk look like this year? Walk Village will be open from 8am-10:30am. The walk route will open right at 8am for walkers to begin walking whenever they would like in order to avoid a large gathering at the start line. The Promise Garden ceremony will begin at 9am.

Where do we meet to walk? The walk takes place on the lawn North of the International Fountain.

Getting to the walk and Parking: While parking is available at the Mercer Street Garage, we highly encourage public transportation or ride share. Parking is also available at the 5th Ave Garage.

Money Turn-in: It is strongly encouraged to use the Walk Mobile App to process checks because it can take 2-3 weeks if you mail it in (Alzheimer’s Association, Seattle Walk, 19031 33rd Ave W, Suite 301 Lynnwood, WA 98036). Directions on how to process checks through the app are here. While we prefer that you don’t turn in your money at the Walk itself, we will have money drop boxes available at the Registration Tables for you. We will have you fill out an envelope and seal it before dropping it in the box. We will process the money turned at the Seattle Walk the following week.

Walk Day of Schedule: Inside the Village there will be refreshments available, vendor booths and entertainment.

8:00 a.m. Walk Village & Registration open, visit sponsor booths, champions tent and more!
9:00 a.m. Promise Garden Ceremony
9:30 a.m. START!

What about t-shirts/incentives? T-shirts and Champion Swag will all be mailed directly to participants. Please note there will be no shirts available for pick up on walk day. If you have raised $100 by the September 4th deadline you will receive your walk t-shirt by walk day. If you have raised $100 after September 4th you will receive your walk t-shirt after walk day.
T-Shirts: Must raise $100
Champions: Raise $500+ and become a Champion and the ability to earn exclusive swag and access to the Champions tent on Walk Day.

Can I still walk at home? If you are not comfortable joining us in person this year you can still walk from home in your own community. Simply download the Walk Mobile App and follow the instructions on walk day. You can set a step goal, watch the National Opening and Promise Garden ceremony and plant a flower in the promise garden. You can also deposit checks, send thank you's and even request money straight from the app. A full video guide can be viewed here.

 

Incentive Certificates will be emailed November 19, and fundraising remains open until the end of the year!
