Our Goal

Thanks for advancing the fight to end Alzheimer's.

We are so grateful for our participants, teams, volunteers, sponsors and donors! Event day is now over but fundraising is still open: All donations made through Dec. 31 will benefit this year's Walk, helping to further the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.

Please see FAQ's below for important reminders for this Saturday's Walk to End Alzheimer's at the Orange County Great Park in Irvine.

adjacent to the Orange Balloon, the Visitor Center, the hanger and the carousel.

The route is 1 mile long and is wheelchair and stroller friendly. 
You can find the Walk Route here

Venue and Walk Route Open: 7 a.m.
Promise Garden Ceremony: 7:30 a.m.
Walk Begins: 7:45 a.m.

Participants may begin walking the route at any time after 7am.

The Walk to End Alzheimer's has been planned with the health and safety of our constituents, staff and volunteers as our top priority.  The event will include: contactless registration, masks welcomed and available on site, physical distancing, appropriate spacing of tables to avoid crowds, shortened Promise Garden Ceremony, ppen start line (begin walking whenever you want!) and hand sanitizing stations.

All participants should register prior to Walk day at act.alz.org/irvine 
Everyone joining in person must be registered, including children.

 We will have a check-in/welcome table at the entrance should you have questions, need to register or drop off a donation. 

Strollers, wheelchairs and wagons are welcome.
Friendly dogs on a leash are invited to join us too!

Donations will be taken on Walk day via mobile payment and cash/check on-site drop box.

Be sure to wear your purple and carry your Walk flags! Take a selfie or photo of your team and post on social media using #Walk2EndALZ, #ENDALZ and #ENDALZOC

We will have a food truck on site for treats for purchase.

Participants who have earned their t-shirt by raising $100 or more four weeks prior to the walk, should have recieved their t-shirt via mail. If you earned your t-shirt less than 4 weeks prior to the walk, it will be mailed to you after the walk date. We will not be handing out t-shirts on walk day

Promise Flowers will be available at the Walk. Come by the Promise Flower Garden on walk day and pick your flower.

If you are a Champion fundraiser, raising $500 or more, come walk-thru the Champions Club Area to be celebrated, take a picture and pick up a voucher for a free treat to be redeemed at the food truck!
