About The Event
The 2020 Bluefin Blowout is our 9th annual giant bluefin tuna fishing tournament, benefiting the Alzheimer's Association. It is New England’s premier giant bluefin tuna tournament presented by the Lyon-Waugh Auto Group, and hosted by Cape Ann’s Marina Resort in America’s oldest seaport, Gloucester, MA! Showcased on the National Geographic’s hit series “Wicked Tuna,” the Bluefin Blowout draws some of the best giant tuna fishermen on the east coast competing in two long days of fishing to take home jackpots and prizes along with the coveted Bluefin Blowout Trophy!
We invite everyone to participate and enjoy the Bluefin Blowout with us from July 23rd-25th at Cape Ann's Marina and Resort. Watch as the giant fish are hoisted by crane into the weigh-in station, visit our vendor and artisan market, enter to win fantastic prizes in our raffle and silent auction, enjoy delicious food, drinks, activities, games, live music and entertainment for all ages! Check out our schedule of events below for more fun activities and ways to support the fight against Alzheimer’s and dementia.
