Our Goal

The world may look a little different right now, but one thing hasn’t changed: our commitment to ending Alzheimer’s. This year, Walk to End Alzheimer’s is everywhere — on every sidewalk, track and trail.

Your health and safety are our top priorities. This year’s event won’t be a large in-person gathering — instead, we invite you to walk in small teams of friends and family while others in your community do the same. Because we are all still walking and fundraising for the same thing: a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.

How to Participate

1. Register for your local Walk.

Sign up as a Team Captain, team member or individual.

2. Start fundraising and spread the word.

We'll provide tips and coaching every step of the way, including easy ways to raise funds online.

3. Join us on Walk day.

Take part in an interactive online experience, then walk in your community.

This year, we're bringing you new and exciting ways to experience the event.

Log in to Mainstage, the event's interactive online experience. Livestream the Opening and Promise Garden Ceremony.

Walk in your neighborhood, on any sidewalk, track or trail. Download the Walk to End Alzheimer's app to track your steps and receive messages of support along your route.

News and Announcements

 The Mobile APP has been updated!

This year, the Mobile App will play an important role on Walk Day. With the latest updates you can:

  • Use the Mobile Deposit feature to deposit checks right on your phone and have the donation will instantly update on your page
  • Track your steps with the new step tracker feature that links to your Android or iPhone. If you are a Team Captain, you can see how your team is doing and set up a friendly competition
  • Set up your FB Fundraiser and send texts and emails to friends and family
  • Access the Pep Rally, Opening Ceremony, and Celebration party
  • On Walk Day you'll be able to listen and track your walk day experience

Have you seen this year's T-Shirt?

If you raise $100 by September 10, you will receive your shirt by Walk Day!  If you hit the $100 mark after September 10, you will receive your shirt a couple of weeks after Walk Day.walk_2020_t-shirt

 This year ALL registered walkers will receive a set of 5 flags in the mail to display before, during, and after Walk Day!  Aren't they great?

Our Walk is developed and planned by a committee of passionate volunteers who work year-round in the areas of marketing and outreach, team retention, team recruitment, sponsorship, logistics, mission and advocacy -- and the event grows and thrives when new faces and new ideas come to the table! We work hard, set ambitious goals, develop lasting friendships and have a lot of fun.
