Wed, Aug 14 - 6:00 PM – Glenn Campbell: I’ll Be Me documentary –Olive Branch Christian Church
Olive Branch Christian Church, located at 7643 Richmond Rd in Williamsburg, will host a screening of the award-winning documentary, Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me, which follows country music legend Glenn Campbell and his family as they navigate his journey with Alzheimer’s during his farewell tour. The screening will take place in the New Fellowship Hall and will start with a dinner at 6:00 PM followed by the movie at 6:30 PM. Suggested donation of $5 includes dinner. All proceeds benefit the Alzheimer's Association.
Sat, Aug 24 - 10:00 AM– 7:00 PM – DIY Workshop – Williamsburg
Get creative and design your own fall-themed masterpiece at the DIY Workshop located at 1208 Jamestown Rd in Williamsburg. A 10" x 10" project costs $15 and a 15" x 15" project costs $20 - stencils, wood, paint and instructions included. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association. Reservations not required.
Mon, Aug 26 - 11:00 AM– 5:00 PM – Nails Uptown – Williamsburg Crossing
Treat yourself to a manicure or pedicure and 20% percent of the day’s proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. In addition, a donation of any amount enters you into a raffle for gift baskets provided by Nails Uptown.
Tues, Sept 3 – 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM – Aqua Zumbathon – New Town Pool
Come to the New Town Pool, located at the intersection of Elizabeth Davis and Center Street in New Town, for Aqua Zumbathon! A light dinner will be available after the event, and raffle prizes will be awarded throughout the evening. This event is free and open to the public but donations are welcome. All proceeds benefit the Alzheimer's Association.
Thurs, Sept 19 – 6:30 PM–9:30 PM – Cornhole for a Cause – Sportsman’s Grille
Try your hand at corn hole and join us at the Sportsman’s Grille located at 240 McLaws Circle. There will be cash prizes for the winner, a 50/50 raffle, and a silent auction. Cost is $20 for 1 player, $50 for 2 players. Register at cornholeforalzheimers.eventbrite.com or at the door.
