Why We Walk: Senior Care Authority is dedicated to helping families facing difficult care decisions. 70-80% of the families we serve are living with dementia. Every day we see first hand, the difficult road people walk when trying to make responsible decisions while dealing with their own challenging emotions. We walk because most of us have had personal experience with a family member living with dementia, which for many has been the driving force in making the career choice that allows us to make a difference.

We walk to support families and to contribute to finding a cure. We walk to support the Alzheimer’s Association in the good work they do in helping thousands of people find their way through the maze of caregiving, family responsibilities, and most important we want families to understand that they are not alone.
