Why We Walk:

agilon health is proud to host a National Team for the Walk to End Alzheimer's for the second year in a row, following a very successful inaugural year. Together with our dedicated physician partners and determined employees, we’re reimagining health care because seniors deserve quality care and physicians deserve a partner who will help them make it possible. With this purpose in mind, we look forward to helping raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research through our involvement in the National Team program.

Our employees—along with their families and friends—are invited to join our National Team and participate in the walk. We also welcome any of our physician partners and care team members to join our National Team! Please join the local "team" within our National Team that best suits your location and/or job function. If you don't see a team in your location, please feel free to create a team so that you can participate with us.

For agilon employees, this also is an opportunity to use your Volunteer Time Off (VTO) benefit. You can use 4 hours of VTO in the week leading up to or immediately following your local walk, as our way of saying thank you for participating.

Transforming communities and bringing about positive change, especially for seniors, is something we embrace all year long at agilon health. Participating as a National Team in the Walk to End Alzheimer's is another example of how #agilonhealthserves365. With employees as well as physician partners located in communities across the U.S., we look forward to having a strong presence at many Walks this fall!
