Why We Walk

At Genworth, we're here to be a trusted ally for everyone who needs care as they age and anyone who loves them.

Over half of the long term care claims we receive—and, as a result, a large portion of the financial reserves we hold—are linked to Alzheimer's disease or other forms of cognitive impairment. No other disease so singularly influences our work in the LTC arena. Additionally, many of us have personally faced Alzheimer's in our immediate circle of family or friends.

Raising awareness and funds to support the Walk to End Alzheimer's is one more way we're helping families address the issues of aging and making a difference in our communities.
