Northstar was founded in 2008 with the simple philosophy, “to create a personal and carefree living environment for all of our residents, with service based on integrity, honesty, and dignity.” The Northstar team will not look back, slow down, or be still. Our resolve is strong, values firm; our goals are high, and the mission is clear. Above all else, we value people. In following our “People Principle”, we strive to help people in both simple and significantly meaningful ways. We have high expectations of ourselves individually and each other collectively to provide consistent quality and excellence in everything that we do.

We believe that we are each accountable for the quality of care for our residents, and at the forefront of that is person-centered care. As fearless advocates for persons living with dementia, our team is committed to preserving dignity, showing love and compassion, and providing purposeful pursuits. We promise to give the residents and families who call our communities home the support they need to live with intention.

We are thrilled to be teaming up with the Alzheimer’s Association’s and The Longest Day event this year. Advancing research and bringing awareness to this disease and the necessary support and care it truly takes is important to Northstar Senior Living. We are excited to host events and raise funds to fight Alzheimer’s and dementia-related diseases, doing what we love on June 21st, The Longest Day.
