In 2014, our mother, Melida Hibbert, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease. We are grateful to http://ALZ.org for their support and guidance as we navigated this difficult illness. They were the first resource we tapped to better understand this illness and find help. We are so grateful to our dad and her husband, George, for his faithful and loving service to his beloved wife. We are equally indebted to all the family members, friends, caregivers, and loved ones who supported her during this season. We ask that you contribute to http://ALZ.org and support research to find a cure for this disease. We take solace in knowing that while her body declined, her spirit never did. Powered by the Lord and the Holy Spirit, she bravely and courageously fought this disease to the end while maintaining the grace, kindness, and love that embodied her life.
