Fundraising Progress

My Story
The Longest Day is the day of the year with the lightest — the summer solstice. And it's the day I have committed to fighting Alzheimer's disease and other dementia! I’m participating in The Longest Day, a fundraising event to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
I have chosen to host a socially distant flash mob on June 12th at 10 AM at UOS (9001 Greenwillow) As a senior myself, I believe we have to choose our future before someone else does. Professionally, I help people create a living space that is right for them. Personally, I know the challenges of dementia as I was a caregiver. The Alzheimer's Association helps to support families, caregivers, and senior facilities. My daughter works for the Alzheimer's Association as the Health Systems Director, and I have learned how the Association is working to improve health care by working with healthcare providers, systems, and insurance companies to increase early detection and ensure that our providers know what matters most to each and every one of us.
So please sign up and dance with me, and wear your purple. This is for everyone!!
Stand up to the darkness of Alzheimer’s and other dementia and make a donation today to help the Alzheimer's Association support all those facing the disease. Thank you!
