My mom, Violet, had been suffering with Alzheimer's for over 12 years. Mom just passed 8/18. I am so thankful she could hear about all the fundraising and research that is being done. She may not have understood what I was sharing, but deep down she may have and that makes me feel better.
It is a cruel illness to not just the patient, but the family as well. I am working hard to raise funds to help families have resources they need besides help support research in hopes to find a cure one day!
