This year, 2023 on Valentine’s Day, we lost another longtime friend, Joe Abele Doug Stone. Both of these friends battled with different forms of Dementia.Maryanne, Joe and Doug will be missed by many! They have been added to my long list of "Walking in Memory of" for the 2023 Walk to End Alzheimer's disease.
Sandy Ritzenhauler - 2016, Connie Calcagnino - 2020, Joseph Faruggia - 2020, Anne DeSantis - 2021, Shirley Scali - 2021, Susan Kern - 2021, Eva Blowers - 2021 and Tina Romanzi - 2021, Rosemarie Rudnick (Dementia) - 2022, as well as everyone else who has passed away from this disease.
The Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease in Sarasota/Manatee Counties will take place on October 28th, 2023, at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota. It will be bigger and better than ever!
