We lost Grace March 10, 2023 after a long battle with alzheimers.
Our hope is that with donations we can put an end to alzheimers. May no family have to experience the loss of their loved one to this disease.
Grace is survived by her four children, Steven Rowland, Joan Rowland (Sabrina), Tracy Gilbert, and David Rowland, her brothers Patrick J. Vitale Jr. (Marceline) and Thomas Vitale Sr. (Olga), twelve grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother Jerome Vitale Sr. (Barbara).
Miss Grace was a force of nature and a vibrant soul who found immense joy as a beauty salon owner, instructor, and later as a restaurateur in the Florida Keys. Whether you were a customer or a friend, spending time with Grace was always a pleasure, thanks to her outgoing and charismatic personality. She was an avid fisherman, spending countless hours on the water, always returning with a story and laughter.
Grace was an active member of Coral Isles Church, dedicating her time and energy to serving both her church and the community. Grace's doors were always open to others, and she welcomed many children into her home over the years, earning her the reputation of being a mother figure to many. Above all, she treasured her family, finding strength and support in their unwavering love and faith.
