The time to be silent is over. Alzheimer’s is the most expensive disease, costing more to society than heart disease or cancer, according to a study published in The New England Journal of Medicine.

Tricon Cares is partnering up with the Alzheimer’s Association with a goal to fundraise $500,000 dollars in the next 3 years. We will be running 6 marathons. Our first marathon will be running the Zurich marathon in April 2019 and would love your support in our fundraising effort as a team of Tricon runners battle the 26.2 miles (42 kilometers).

The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research. The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. Alzheimer’s disease is a global epidemic; an estimated 47 million people worldwide are living with dementia.

But, running this marathon could be the answer to a world free of Alzheimer’s. Mile by mile, dollar by dollar, we will be providing much needed funding not only to research, but to ensuring people affected by Alzheimer’s can live their best lives.
