Fundraising Progress

My Story
My story and association with the Alzheimer’s Walk and The Longest Day activities began ten years ago when I was in graduate school to become a Speech-Language Pathologist!! I originally just walked…then I added fundraising, and ultimately (a few years ago) I became a committee member. This year, with huge shoes to fill, I am serving as the Chair of the Asheville - Walk to End Alzheimer’s! I have also participated in The Longest Day activities for the past six years. Each year I have proudly raised over $1,000 for each event and will continue to encourage family and friends to donate and participate with me every time a new opportunity arises. Here's to an affordable cure... and our first survivor!
Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you!
