Incoronata (nee Sapia) Cerullo, She was born in 1926 in Vallata, Italy and came to America in 1963 with her husband and children to help build a better life for her family.
Incoronata was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Incoronata was an excellent cook and made sure everyone was fed with the freshest of ingredients straight from her own garden. In addition she assisted her husband at John's Caffè, established in 1968, of Elizabeth, NJ, remembered fondly for ensuring her beloved customers received a cup of espresso and fresh bread on a daily basis.
Incoronata was diagnosed with Alzheimer's at the age of 74. She had a slow decline with this disease. Over the years, her family learned how to communicate with her and understand her.
