We had new Walk shirts make for the 2020 Walk to End Alzheimer's, and even though this little had not yet been born, we decided he needed one too. This is Kaysen, Gary's great grandson, who never got to meet his Papa G. As you can see, he has a feeding tube. He had heart surgery when he was two months old, and there were a few complications. He's improving everyday because he's a fighter. It must run in the family because we are still here fighting for a cure and the first survivor of Alzheimer's disease. Plans are for an in-person Walk this year. Hopefully by October 2nd our world will look a little more normal. But either way, we're still gonna need your support. Fighting a relentless disease like this takes all of us. Your donation will help with important research. It will also go to programs to aid the victims and their caregivers. Our Walk raises awareness so those dealing with this disease know where they can turn for help. So please join us! We'd love to have you on our team. Or you can form one of your own - it's easy and so much fun! If you're able, a donation of any amount will go far when added to the big pot. And we have a very generous donor who will match all donations raised by any member of Gary's Gang. If you need help dealing with Alzheimer's disease or as a caregiver, do not hesitate to contact the Alzheimer's Association at 800-272-3900.
