My Story
Hello! Evan here from GoodDay Puzzles. I’m participating in The Longest Day to honor my grandfather Howard, and to support the fight to end Alzheimer’s.
From the Alzheimer’s Association: “The Longest Day is the day with the most light — the summer solstice. On June 21, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s through a fundraising activity of their choice.”
Dedicated to my grandfather is a jigsaw puzzle called Howie’s Drive-In. It’s an easy jigsaw puzzle that is specially designed for seniors with dementia. I believe that puzzles provide the perfect opportunity to connect with your loved ones. Although Alzheimer’s can be an ugly disease, a diagnosis is not the end of joy. During shared moments together, my grandfather showed me that there can always be something to smile about.
