Leah Jolene Wolfley Bateman passed peacefully in Katy, Texas on Nov 1, 2021 after a battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Zeal for life was woven in the fabric of her generous heart. Jolene's radiant spirit and selfless care for others brightened the lives of everyone she met. Her optimism helped others deal with life's challenges, and was returned to her as countless family and friends nurtured her in her time of need. Even in her professional life, Jolene focused on care of others as a beautician and by helping them understand insurance options through Blue Cross Blue Shield and Fred A. Moreton & Co. She was truly a saint and her legacy lives on in our hearts.
She is survived by her siblings Leon and Barbara Wolfley and Vicki and Gary Margetts, her son Scott Bateman, daughter-in-law Angel, and grandchildren Jackson and Emily, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will join her son Rick, brothers Dennis, Darrell and Joel, and parents Delbert & Leah that preceded her in death at her final resting place at Murray City Cemetery. Private services will be held to remember her amazing life. Donations to the Alzheimer's Association in Jolene's name are appreciated to help others.
