I have a long history of supporting the Alzheimer's Association's Walk to End Alzheimer's event and this year will be no exception.
I have personally lost several family members to this terrible disease including an aunt, a cousin and Lenny's grandmother. I have also lost many friends who have been residents at St. Paul's whom I have treasured. I have seen firsthand, the heartache and heartbreak caused to those afflicted with the disease and to all those who love them.
I am blessed to work at St. Paul's - a faith based mission driven senior care facility that supports this walk. Each year I am joined by colleagues at work, other residents and by family members both past and present. They each have an individual story and personal reason to join this endeavor. I am always touched and inspired by them all and I am so very proud of our team!
I am asking for your support to do my part! Please make a donation to help the Alzheimer's Association advance research into prevention, treatments and a cure for Alzheimer's. For the millions already affected by the disease, the Association offers care, education, support and resources in communities nationwide.
Thank you for joining our movement! The end of Alzheimer's disease starts here.
