Alzheimer’s is not just a statistic. I lost my grandmother to this disease, and I have seen firsthand how devastating it can be for families, and it is one of the reasons I feel so strongly about supporting the Alzheimer’s Association and their mission.
Personally, this disease represents one of the greatest fears of aging: the loss of memory, independence, and connection with loved ones. I know I am not alone in that fear, and I also know many families are walking this difficult road right now.
But I also walk with hope. Thanks to advancements in research, we are seeing real progress toward treatments and, one day, a cure. With continued fundraising and awareness, those efforts can grow and bring us closer to ending this disease.
That is why I am participating this year. I had to do something that I know will have an impact.
I would be grateful for your support, whether through a donation, joining the walk, or simply helping spread the word. Together, we can make a difference.
Thank you for standing with me in this fight.
