My 10 years with my wife, Judy, after she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease were actually a good chapter in our life. It was different than we had planned, but we had many "moments of joy" together. Judy and I liked to sit on the deck and watch the cumulus clouds go by, see the Canadian geese fly by over the irrigation canal, and watch the dogs chase the squirrels. We were able to be close together more than ever and our love was strong.
Families facing Alzheimer?s and all other dementia need us ? and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising efforts. Together, we can end Alzheimer?s disease.
