My family and I are looking forward to gathering together on Sunday, October 10, to participate in our 28th Western MD Walk to End Alzheimer's in Frederick, MD. We continue to walk in memory of my late husband Gene, beloved father and grandfather who lost his life after a 13-year battle with Alzheimer's. The Walk continues to be a very important part of my life as I continue to lead Team HOPE in raising awareness and funds to support the Alzheimer's Association. With the dollars we raise, the Alzheimer's Association can provide care, support and services to families and individuals living with Alzheimer's in our communities, while advancing critical research toward methods of treatment and prevention. Many of these services were not available at the time my family and I needed them. This is why the Walk is so important to me and why I have continued to walk through all these years, to help others through their journey. If you are able and would like to sponsor me in this year's Walk, please visit my donation website page to make a tax-deductible contribution to the Alzheimer's Association on my behalf, OR to join Team HOPE. Please know that every dollar counts and that no amount is too small. If you prefer, please make your check payable to the Alzheimer's Association and mail to my attention OR Click on the MAIL-IN DONATION option next to DONATE and mail to the McLean address for processing. Thank you for your consideration of a donation and for your continued support through the years.
