Dear Friends and Family,
I am participating once again in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's and our In-Person Walk Day is scheduled for October 4th. We will be starting our walk in a new location near Lincoln Park and I am so grateful to be a part of Team Pou-Pou. I am hopeful that this year we will raise even more awareness & support to End Alzheimer's! I am honoring my mother, Georgia, who was the light of my life. She brought us everyday joy and happiness despite her battle with ALZ. Not a day goes by that I don't miss her....Our lives were blessed with her in our home for 9 beautiful years, creating cherished memories that allow us to keep her spirit alive in our hearts. An estimated 6.7 million Americans age 65 and older are living with Alzheimer's in 2025 and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. I want to be part of this change. Let's stop this memory thief from stealing our minds!
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
I understand that most of you support a lot of other very worthwhile causes ... so please, consider a donation of whatever you are able to provide ~ any amount is very much appreciated!
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
Love and prayers,
Janice Gendron
