My mom, Julie, was diagnosed with Younger-Onset Alzheimer's she was 52, and the disease took her from us in May of 2018, at only 58 years old.
However, despite her diagnosis, my mom remained positive, happy, and hopeful for the future. I, too, am hopeful that the 16 million Americans who are projected going to get Alzheimer's by 2050 will have a cure. That families won't struggle to care for their loved ones. That one day we will be able to say we've eradicated this fatal disease. And in the meantime, the families that are impacted have all the support they need to navigate challenges brought on by dementia.
Please join my family by making a donation or joining our team to do our part to advance research into methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure for Alzheimer's.
Thank you for joining our fight!
