My wife, of 41 years, Maureen has several of the many forms of Dementia including Alzheimer's disease. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, my goal is to raise awareness and funds to advance the fight against this syndrome of diseases called Dementia. Funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support for those affected while accelerating critical research.
Those afflicted with Dementia need the help of their supporters and caregivers from the very first signs of the condition and for the remainder of their lives. The quality of their lives depends directly on their caregivers. Families facing the many forms of Dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease, need us — and with your help, we can be there for them.
