I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®

I have participated in this walk for many years, this is my sixth year to walk In Memory of my dad instead of In Honor of him. Sadly, in 2019 he passed away after a 13 year battle with Alzheimer's. 

Far too many people have stories similar to mine. We can change that.

As a result of the research for treatments and medication, I was able to enjoy my dad and he was able to enjoy friends and family for years after his diagnosis. Even up to 8 years after being diagnosed, friends who met my dad were surprised that he had Alzheimer's. These important advances significantly slowed the progression and helped him remain lucid for years.

Your donation will help further Alzheimer’s research, which has made tremendous progress in recent years. It also provides education and resources to the caregivers, family and friends impacted by this terrible diagnosis.
