Natalie and I are leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
My family and I are participating this year to honor the matriarchs of our families. We walk in memory of our grandmothers, Ruby Lee Edwards and Elma Marie Goudeau Perry.
This year we are walking at Brazos River Park in Sugar Land, TX. Save the date, Saturday, October 26th, 2024 . We will play games, enjoy music and fun, share memories of those we have lost, and commemorate our efforts to one day celebrate the first survivor.
Please donate. Last year, with the help of family and friends we raised over $3,000. Our goal this year is $3,500.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
