Alzheimer’s disease is relentless and has touched the CHAVIES' in ways that words can not express. TIMMY, who passed away from this disease on 04/04/2020, was our leader, husband, father, grandfather and boss. He lead the way for us and now its time WE continue to lead the way for him and others affected with Alzheimer's.
For the Fifth Year we are joining the Walk to End Alzheimer's and Fight SHOULDER to SHOULDER for a cure. The Shoulder to Shoulder theme comes from the University of Colorado's fight song..... it ends with "Shoulder to Shoulder, we will Fight, Fight, Fight, Fight, Fight". That ending is fitting for this disease, because the individuals with the disease and the family, caregivers and friends of that individual, have to Fight, Fight, Fight, Fight, Fight each and everyday.
Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®, the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research will take place on 10/02/2021 at Lincoln Park in Downtown Greeley.
