I’m once again raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research. It also helps the family members and care givers who need support to get through this!
My dad, Fred B. Stevens, Sr., suffered from Alzheimer's during the last nine years of his life. Our family experienced this horrible disease personally, and we lost him long before his final day in August of 2016. His older brother also suffered from dementia, his youngest sister passed away earlier this year after suffering for several years. His remaining sister is dealing with Alzheimer's too. We need to stop this disease!
