I'm walking for my mom, Mary Beth Montplaisir and my grandma Agnes Carlson (Mom’s Mom). She has been living with the diagnosis of Alzheimer's for more than 4 years. She has likely had it for more years. Alzheimer's has stolen many skills from my mom. She holds a Masters degree in Special Education. She was once a master gardener able to identify an infinite number of plants and keep them alive. A master quilter whose work was once showcased at the MN State Fair. Alzheimer's has taken all these skills and more. Grandma Agnes lost her battle with Alzheimer’s when I was a sixth grader.
Today, mom needs help with the most simple daily living skills. Join me in helping to find an end for Alzheimer's.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
