In April 2021 I lost my Aunt Mary. She was suffering from dementia and her life was cut shorter than expected. She was a bold thinker with a sense of humor and an irreverent streak. She loved design, antiques and history and she sparked my interest in all of these things too. Aunt Mary loved her family more than anything, and I am honored to raise funds in her name this year.
My colleagues at Baskervill and I are standing up to fight this disease. I’m proud to say that our team was listed on the top ten corporate sponsors list in 2019 & 2020. This is our third year and I am excited to rally the troops again for the 2021 Walk to End Alzheimer's®.
Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. My hope is that I will see Alzheimer's first survivor in my lifetime.
