I am participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's in memory of my beloved mother, Carolyn K. LaFleche. She was such an inspiration to me and helped to shape my life. I moved in with her and assisted with her daily care at the conclusion of this beautiful woman's life. In the end I felt like I lost a child and my Mom all in one. Her battle with Alzheimer's was so awful that words alone can not describe it. No person should have to face this debilitating disease.
Please help to support me in this walk so that someday Alzheimer's disease will no longer be a threat to mankind.
